New girl Vanessa has been smoking, skipping class, and staying out late. It's time she learns how we deal with difficult students at Bellington Academy. After a long, hard introduction to corporal punishment, Vanessa writes lines as she sits uncomfortably on her bruised little bottom. I instruct her to hold out her hands, and she recoils in pain as my tawse meets her tender palms for the very first time.
