A Road Trip Punishment

I never thought a simple road trip would turn into a lesson I'd never forget. The drive felt endless, and I couldn't stop complaining about how slowly my boyfriend was driving, even though he kept reminding me that the bad weather meant he had to be extra careful. On top of that, I kept asking for breaks, always finding a new excuse, I was thirsty, hungry, needed the bathroom... anything to stop the car. Eventually, he'd had enough. He pulled over in the middle of the countryside, far from everything, and decided it was time to teach me a lesson. Being on the road, he had to improvise with whatever he could find in the car, including a phone charging cable and a folding fan. By the end, I had sincerely apologized and finally realized that the more I distracted him and interrupted the journey, the longer the trip would actually take. It was definitely a lesson I won't be forgetting anytime soon.
